Those who know me know I'm big into DND! It's been a big inspiration of mine as I learn, considering I'm so in love with these magical worlds and faraway lands. Recently, I've been working on a thesis project exploring the main Villain I'm making for a campaign of mine. Her name is Morganne—a spider queen sorcerer who lures unsuspecting victims into her forest to feast on. I wanted to explore her as a character through dioramas and environments, and also explore how she might change once her daughter abandons her on a quest to be a heroine.

I've been really wanting to make some food-related assets, so I decided to make her tea set! As a fun challenge too, I tackled roses and made them a big part of this project, and I'm really satisfied with how they turned out. I utilized trim sheets for much of these assets, to create repeatable patterns for things like cups and plates, as well as create a solid wood and gold material that I could use for assets big and small. I've been wanting to take a leap into animation to really bring my environments to life, so it was a joy to try simple animations out for this project.
